Step Two: Get Physical

Intensiv Visits South Downs College

This Tuesday Intenisv carried out a VR themed workshop with 20 excitable drama students from South Downs College. We must say we had a competitive session. From time pressured warm ups to laser focused games we separated the group into two teams; Team ALPHA and Team OMEGA!

Each team were required to work against each other in a series of physical and VR based games in order to gain points for their team, if they were caught being unjust in any way, there team would automatically lose points.

This workshop aimed to engage our participants in a series of high intensity exercises that lead them to stay connected whilst working in strategic ways to beat their competitors. Whilst the physical aspect of the workshop took place in the main making space, our team members Rachel and Jimi where in charge of our VR ZONE. We decided to use upcoming VR application games such as ‘Clay Shooting’ to engage our participants in competitive VR and allow them to use upcoming technology that is not often easily accessible.
